La Societat General d’Electricitat es va construir l’any 1908 als
terrenys de l’antic Vapor Busquets. És un edifici modernista,
projectat per Lluís Muncunill. Conflueix entre els carrers Unió i
Joan Coromines. Està format per una nau de maó vist amb cobertes
amb volta catalana¸ és un element molt característic en aquest
edifici, així com el ritme de les obertures, d’arc rebaixat.
Actualment és un restaurant de la cadena Viena.
La Sociedad General d'Electricidad se construyó en el año 1908 en
los terrenos del antiguo Vapor Busquets. Es un edificio modernista
proyectado por Lluís Muncunill. Confluye entre las calles Unió i
Joan Coromines. Está formado por una nave de ladrillo visto con
cubiertas con vuelta catalana, es un elemento muy característico en
éste edificio, así como el ritmo de las aperturas, de arco
rebajado. Actualmente es un restaurante de la cadena Viena.

The General Society d'Electricity was built in 1908 in the grounds of
the old Steam Busquets. It is a modernist building designed by Lluís
Muncunill. Converges between Joan Coromines and Unió streets. It
consists of a brick warehouse with covered back Catalan, is a very
characteristic in this building, as well as the rhythm of the of
openings, segmental arch. Now it's a Viena restaurant.
