El Vapor Aymerich, Amat i Jover és una construcció que va ser
dissenyada per l’arquitecte
Lluís Muncunill. L’edifici va començar a construir-se l’any
1907 i la construcció va durar un any i
mig.
El sostre d’aquesta magnífica construcció està compost per un
mar d’arcs i de voltes de maó
sustentades per pilars de ferro i es va construir d’aquesta manera
per poder aprofitar millor la
llum natural.
Actualment l’antiga fàbrica tèxtil acull el Museu de la Ciència
i la Tecnica de
Catalunya(mNACTEC). (El mNactec combina una sèrie d’exposicions
permanents amb les
exposicions temporals que arriben al museu. Apart, les exposicions es
complementen
perfectament amb l’estructura original del Vapor.)

El Vapor Aymerich, Amat i Jover es una construcción que fue diseñada
por el arquitecto Lluís Muncunill. El edificio se empezó a
construir el año 1907 y el proceso total de construcción duró un
año y medio.
El techo de esta magnífica construcción está compuesto por un mar
de arcos y vueltas de ladrillo sostenidas por pilares de hierro y se
construyó de este modo para poder aprovechar mejorla luz natural.
Actualmente la antigua fábrica téxtil acoge al Museo de la Ciencia
y la Tecnología de Cataluña(mNACTEC). (El mNACTEC combina una serie
de exposiciones permanentes con las exposiciones temporales que
llegan al museo. A parte, las exposiciones se complementan
perfectamente con la estructura original del vapor.)

The Vapor Aymerich, Amat i Jover is a building which was designed by
the architect Lluís Muncunill. It was built between 1907 and 1908.
The building was opened as factory in 1908.
The roof of this fantastic building is made of brick archs, and it
was built at this way to take advantage of the natural lightning.
Nowadays, the old textile factory takes in the Science and Technology
Museum of Catalunya(mNACTEC). (The mNACTEC combines a set of
permanent exhibitions with the temporal exhibitions that arrive at
the museum. On the other hand, the exhibitions really complement with
the original factory building.)
